The Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions is looking for a German-speaking Data Architect to join its team in Hungary. The role involves designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms that support real business decisions.
Requirements
- Several years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (MS Azure, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar)
- Strong data engineering background (SQL, Python, PySpark, ETL/ELT design)
- Knowledge of streaming and message-oriented systems (Kafka, Event Hubs, or equivalent solutions)
- Confident data modeling skills (dimensional, normalized, and lakehouse patterns)
- Data security and governance experience (IAM, data masking, lineage tools - e.g., Purview)
- Knowledge of orchestration and CI/CD processes (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, GitOps-based pipelines)
- Experience with observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerts)
- Architecture mindset, strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with business and technical stakeholders
- Autonomous, responsible work habits
- Language skills: English - C1, German - B2
