Junior Software Engineer Low Latency Trading

Role Overview

We're looking for a Software Engineer who lives and breathes low-level programming and high-performance computing to build, improve, and maintain our low-latency, high-throughput trading infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Collect quotes and trades from exchanges around the world in the most efficient way possible, tackle big-data challenges at scale, and squeeze out every last microsecond.

Requirements

• Creativity, self-motivation, drive to perfection
• Excellent C/C++ design and programming skills
• Must prove hands-on experiences working on big projects in C/C++ in a dynamic environment
• Demonstration of active GitHub account (or similar proof)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP, UDP, etc.) with low level networking knowledge preferred
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, complexity, statistics and algebra
• At least Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
• Solid experience with scripting languages (Python, shell scripting, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud computing infrastructure (a plus)
