Product Security Engineer II

DigitalOcean is seeking a Product Security Engineer II to collaborate with the Security Engineering team to guide secure architecture design and reduce security risk in the organization. The role involves providing holistic assessments of security layers, threat modeling, and driving software design and implementation of security services and tools. The ideal candidate has experience in software engineering projects, modern development concepts, and security architecture design. Requirements

• Ability to clearly communicate security topics and vulnerability classes
• Hands-on experience in software engineering projects
• Working knowledge of modern development concepts
• Working knowledge of system architecture and/or application architecture
• Experience building or reviewing threat models
• Working knowledge of hardware and software supply chain security
