Job Description
The Vicariate Hispanic Ministry Coordinator is responsible for accompanying the Hispanic Faithful in their journey of Faith, serving as a resource for Pastors of parishes within the vicariate, and providing leadership formation to members.
Requirements
- Formation/Certification in Hispanic Pastoral Leadership (S.E.P.I., Notre Dame, Catholic University)
- Minimum of 2-4 years working in Hispanic Ministry at the parish level
- 2+ years working in Hispanic Ministry at the diocesan level (optional)
- Must be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church
- Pastoral experience in working with multiple cultures is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
- Must possess basic computer knowledge, including the MS Office suite
- Strong listening, empathy, and organizational skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and familiarity with social media
