Commercial Litigation Associate

Direct Counsel is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join a premier litigation practice in Boston or New York, with 2–5 years of commercial litigation experience, to work on sophisticated, high-stakes commercial disputes and gain significant responsibility and direct exposure to clients and senior trial attorneys.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of commercial litigation experience
• Experience conducting discovery and managing complex litigation matters
• Experience drafting and arguing pleadings and motions
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Trial preparation and witness preparation experience
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and communication skills
• Comparable law firm experience preferred
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
• Experience on both the plaintiff and defense side is a plus
