
Job description
Direct Travel is seeking a Director of Analytics to lead the strategic direction, architecture, and delivery of its global analytics platform. The platform serves internal stakeholders and thousands of clients worldwide, making it a critical investment for the company. The ideal candidate has a hands-on technical background, experience in leading analytics engineering teams, and a proven track record of delivering production analytics products.
The Director of Analytics will define and execute the multi-year roadmap for the global analytics platform, drive the end-to-end delivery of analytics data products, and establish standards for data lifecycle management. They will also serve as a senior technical authority on analytics architecture decisions, provide hands-on guidance on query performance tuning, and lead the design of bespoke data products.
The right candidate has a demonstrable track record of delivering both internal and externally facing analytics products, understands the engineering rigor required to operate a multi-tenant analytics platform, and can recruit, mentor, and elevate a high-caliber team while continuing to provide deep technical guidance.
