
Job description
The HR Benefits Manager leads the strategy, design, and delivery of DISA's employee benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with our Total Rewards philosophy. This role oversees the Benefits team and partners closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders to build a modern, inclusive, and high-impact benefits experience that supports employee wellbeing, engagement, and retention.
Design and manage employee benefits programs, evaluate workforce trends, lead annual benefits planning and renewal cycles, research and implement new benefit programs, analyze utilization data, manage broker, carrier, and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic benefits expertise and hands-on operational leadership, with strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and Section 125, and experience implementing innovative or non-traditional benefits programs and wellbeing initiatives.
