As an Engineer on our growing DevOps team, you will be evolving and managing our AWS-based cloud infrastructure, focusing on our internal platform and control plane. Your work will help shape our future cloud strategy through your collaboration with our internal customers, our fellow Engineers.
Requirements
- Deliver Systems: Engage actively in coding, code reviews, and technical discussions, ensuring high-quality output.
- Architect Systems: Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance, easily modifiable distributed systems.
- Optimize Performance: Continuously enhance system performance, focusing on meeting internal customer needs using the best practices for designing scalable distributed systems.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
- A DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience (Infrastructure, CI/CD, Observability)
- 3+ years working with cloud-native applications in AWS
- 3+ years of writing Infrastructure As Code
- 2+ years of configuring and Maintaining Linux Systems with Scripting/Automation
- 2+ years of automating deployment/scaling of containerized apps
- 2+ years of experience monitoring systems using modern observability tooling
- 1+ years Scripting Languages
- Exposure to building and managing PaaS (Platform as a Service) systems for internal customers
- Exposure to Windows Servers, ASP.NET Deployments (WebDeploy)
- 2+ years of experience managing Jenkins
- Experience with Software Development, any tech stack
- Experience with Cloud Networking (vlan, routing)
- Experience with Windows Administration (Active Directory, Group Policy Objects)
- Knowledge of AWS and DevOps technologies such as Cloud Provider - AWS: EC2, Lambda, Aurora, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, KMS, CodePipeline, etc.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, CodeDeploy, GitHub, Artifactory, HashiCorp Consul
- Knowledge of Observability tools such as ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, New Relic, Sentry.io
- Knowledge of Programming Languages: Python, Bash, Kotlin
