Job Description
Distyl AI is a rapidly growing AI technology company focused on developing AI-native systems for enterprises. They partner with leading corporations and have experienced leaders in the AI space. They are seeking an Applied AI Researcher to explore novel system archetypes and redesign software workflows using AI technologies.
Requirements
- Experience building across many paradigms—retrieval pipelines, reasoning agents, evaluation harnesses, multimodal integrations, or workflow graph systems
- Expertise in compound AI systems, agentic collaboration, and associated techniques (ensembling, ReAct, graph-of-thoughts, etc.)
- Proven track record of research results (publications, Twitter posts, etc.)
- Proficiency in AI tools like ChatGPT, Cursor, and Perplexity
- Strong programming and data analysis skills
- Biases towards showing vs telling
- Ability to build prototypes and perform experiments.
