
Job description
The Assistant Business Office Manager will assist in managing the business office, including accounting, billing, and financial record-keeping. This role will work with the team to provide exceptional healthcare services to patients and residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
Responsibilities include recording cash receipts, assembling invoices, maintaining resident trust accounts, reconciling bank statements, and performing collection efforts. The Assistant Business Office Manager will also maintain accurate records, prepare information for year-end audits, and coordinate with the Administrator.
This role is a great fit for individuals who are passionate about caregiving and have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with residents, families, and facility staff.
