Senior Business Process Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Business Process Engineer will lead the end-to-end business process engineering function within the Energy Directorate, analysing, redesigning and optimising business processes across the energy value chain. The role bridges strategy, operations and technology, ensuring that AS-IS and TO-BE process architectures are aligned with regulatory requirements, data governance standards, revenue models and service delivery objectives.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include leading the development and maintenance of enterprise-wide process architecture, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current processes, redesigning processes to improve operational efficiency, service delivery and cost optimisation, and ensuring seamless integration across upstream and downstream processes.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 8–12+ years’ experience in business process engineering and optimisation, enterprise architecture and process design, with a proven track record in large-scale transformation programmes, particularly in the public sector, municipal or government environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering / Process Engineering, Information Systems / Computer Science, or Business Science / Operations Management
• 8–12+ years’ experience in business process engineering and optimisation, enterprise architecture and process design
• TOGAF Certification (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and BPM certifications are highly advantageous
