Job Description
The Creature Supervisor will oversee the development of all Rigging and CFX of CG creatures, from design and build to final render, providing direction and leading a team. This role involves collaboration with other departments, leading technical challenges, and implementing training schemes. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in creature specializations and post-production.
Requirements
- Proven high-end feature film VFX experience, featuring major creatures/characters on multiple projects
- Thorough knowledge of creature specialisation (Rigging, Muscle/Skin simulation, Cloth and Hair/Fur simulation)
- Full working knowledge of Maya
- Strong, critical visual and artistic skills
- Strong leadership qualities with experience supervising teams
- Experience in pipeline issues
- Familiarity with Ziva, Houdini and USD
