Paralegal - Kuala Lumpur

We are a legal consultancy specializing in commercial contracts relating to derivatives, financing, and professional agreements. We are establishing a base in Malaysia to work with existing and new clients across the Asia-Pacific region. You will join our team as a Legal Consultant, supporting the negotiation of contracts on behalf of our clients. You will work with a leading industry practitioner in Kuala Lumpur, supported by experienced colleagues from the UK. This is a client-facing role with a wide range of financial institutions, from global banks to hedge funds. You will be exposed to a considerable amount of responsibility from the outset and have the opportunity to progress within your team. Requirements

• At least a 2:1 Undergraduate degree in Law or equivalent degree
• Interest in developing a career in Law
• Close attention to detail and strength in organisation and time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluent English (written and verbal)
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and clients
• Ability to think creatively and solve problems
• Able to speak Mandarin fluently (preferred)
