The Security Department follows Standard Operating Guidelines to accomplish the safety and security of all patients, visitors and employees at Down East Community & Calais Community Hospital.
Requirements
- High school graduate, trade school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to routinely use maintenance products and solutions
- Must be able to follow instructions both written and verbal
- Adapts well to sudden changes
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Communicates non-routine items/issues to the Security Supervisor
- Conduct routine rounds of the building
- Assist in monitoring patients as needed
- Completes work order assignments as time allows
- Maintains courteous and respectful manner with other departments
- Always displays a positive and professional attitude
- Must be willing to cover shifts at other job sites when necessary
