Job Description
DREAM is a non-profit organization founded in 1991, serving over 2,500 youth in the East Harlem and South Bronx areas through educational programs. They are seeking a Director of Major Gifts to cultivate and steward donor relationships with major gift prospects, manage philanthropic partnerships with corporate donors, and secure new opportunities for the organization. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students and families.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of direct fundraising experience
- Experience with strategic management of a major gifts portfolio
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the New York City philanthropic community
- Strong belief in DREAM's mission
