Shift Manager - Nights

DS Smith are looking for a Shift Manager to join the team based at manufacturing site in Kettering. The Shift Manager will lead and develop the manufacturing shift to achieve all KPIs, drive a culture of performance and accountability, and work closely with manufacturing colleagues across the wider DS Smith POS business.

Requirements

• Excellent team leadership skills with an mindset of continuous improvement
• Qualification in Safety and / or Quality Management
• A commitment to team working principles and the necessary strengths, character, communication and interpersonal skills to take the business to record levels of productivity, quality and customer service performance
• Computer literate to an advanced level
• Comfort with communicating to a wide and diverse audience
• Analytical and rational approach to decision making
• Proven leadership and management skills
• A robust and confident operator, with the ability to observe and question the status quo
