Job Description
DTCC is seeking a skilled Mainframe Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize their enterprise mainframe systems. This role involves ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of core systems, especially transaction processing, and is crucial for supporting essential operations. The position is a key role within a dynamic internal community committed to employee growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Experience in mainframe systems engineering, system programming, or operations
- Proficiency in z/OS and BCP components
- Knowledge of JCL, RACF, MQ, DB2, CICS, IODF panels, mainframe networking, HMC panels
- Knowledge in mainframe performance monitoring
- Experience with mainframe monitoring tools (e.g., MainView or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
