The Survey Technician is responsible for assisting in land surveying duties, performing technical tasks in surveying, construction, operations, and maintenance. Responsibilities include performing surveys, preparing data, reducing field notes, reviewing grade sheets, and conducting post-survey field data analysis.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Surveying preferred
- 0-2 years' experience in surveying
- Valid driver's license
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop
- Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry
- Strong technical background
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10 safety training and OSHA 40 safety training
- Proficient in Microsoft Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Independent and critical thinking abilities
