The Carrier Coverage Representative will be a trusted logistics advisor, providing transportation solutions to support clients' supply chain needs, managing carrier relationships, and driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Manage and develop a carrier portfolio establishing long lasting carrier relationships
- Sell and negotiate with carriers
- Continuously prospect new carriers through high-volume outbound calls and occasional onsite visits
- Provide continuous coverage support for all open brokerage loads
- Achieve and exceed all Carrier Sales Rep metrics and KPIs
- Grow personal carrier base and establish residual "core" carriers
- Adopt industry technologies and implement them into daily operations
- Perform thorough carrier campaigns to establish a solid carrier base for awarded business
- Perform daily carrier profiles to ensure internal carrier database is up to date
- Provide excellent customer service internally and to our carriers
