The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer ensures the quality of various Information Technology projects, defining and implementing processes, best practices, and testing methodologies. The role requires a good understanding of web applications, web services, databases, and test automation technologies, as well as exceptional people skills to develop relationships across multiple internal departments.
Requirements
6+ years Software QA Automation Engineer experience
Thorough understanding of QA methodology in manual and automated testing of Web UI and API
Experience with Java, Postman, Selenium, Rest Assured, and other tools
6+ years working experience in Agile development methodologies, Change Management, Change Control, and Compliance methodologies
Ability to troubleshoot system problems, determine root cause, recommend and implement solutions
Flexible, able to multi-task, context switch, and manage prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal skills, ability to communicate information in clear and concise language to a wide audience varying in levels of technical expertise
Aptitude for learning new concepts and procedures
Strong customer service orientation
Good written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
