Driver (Part-Time) - North Merrick Senior Community Service Center

Join Our Team as a Driver! The Driver is responsible for transporting elderly participants to and from the North Merrick Senior Community Service Center (SCSC) in an assigned EAC Network 21 passenger vehicle. Must have a valid NY State Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class C or above) with no record of suspensions, ability to read and interpret a map/GPS, communicate with the elderly, and complete required paperwork. $21 per hour, Monday-Friday 8:30AM-3:30PM, 1260 Meadowbrook Rd, Merrick, NY.

Requirements

• Valid NY State Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class C or above)
• Passenger endorsement with no record of suspensions
• Defensive driving course every 3 years
• Ability to read and interpret a map/GPS
• Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of the elderly
• Ability to complete all required paperwork necessary to perform work assignments
