Director, Development

NeighborHealth, a leading community health center in Massachusetts, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Development to lead its individual and major gift fundraising and philanthropic efforts. The Director of Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the individual and major gifts development strategy to support NeighborHealth’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to underserved communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred or at least 10 years of experience working in management/leadership roles
• At least 7 years of experience as a multi-faceted fundraiser for a nonprofit
• An experienced and creative approach to building, engaging and sustaining a comprehensive development program that utilizes diverse strategies, well-designed materials and appealing activities
• Ability to conduct basic donor research and create approach strategies, steward donor relationships, and oversee/ensure that donor reports and acknowledgments in a timely and accurate manner
• Ability to work in partnership with a diverse team to collaboratively achieve fundraising goals
