Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Health Services Research

The Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in the Research and Infrastructure Service Enterprise (RISE), a research division housed within the Office of Research.

Requirements

• Provide expertise in research design, statistical analysis plans, data management, data visualization, data collection and extraction, database design, randomization, sample size calculation, and power analysis.
• Work closely with School of Nursing and College of Health Sciences faculty to guide them through the research process, from protocol development and data collection to analysis and publication.
• Foster internal and external collaborations to sustain and expand the research infrastructure at Virginia Health Sciences.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of research methods, statistics, and bioinformatics training to learners, including faculty researchers.
• Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at regional, national, and international conferences.
• Assist with grant preparation, and abstract, manuscript, and related dissemination efforts.
• Generate reports for internal and external audiences.
