Materials Coordinator

Role Overview

The Materials Coordinator will utilize engineering records, maintenance planning, and engineering deliverables to order parts and/or materials required to execute maintenance work. This role will work with Procurement to expedite parts and/or materials as needed and participate in maintenance planning and scheduling meetings to understand current work priority.

What You Will Do

The Materials Coordinator will create purchase requisitions as needed to order parts and/or materials, pick-up and deliver items inside the facility and/or off-site facilities, and monitor inventory of vendor stocked parts and/or materials in assigned areas.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience ordering mechanical or electrical parts
• Valid state motor vehicle driver’s license
• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Knowledge of Maintenance processes
• Stable progressive work history
• Ability to easily identify mechanical and electrical parts in staging process
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people
