Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and its manufacturing methods.
Requirements
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and its manufacturing methods
- Focus on new product/process introduction and development as well as supporting problem solving and process improvements
- Accountable for Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) improvement activity
- Accountable for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) and delivery of committed improvement in these areas
- Implement process improvements to improve part quality, reduce cycle time, and cost
- Work in a team environment as an individual contributor
- Address MRB conditions and recommend and implement necessary corrective actions
- Participate in Change Board and Configuration activities
- Create Part Manufacturing Data sheets and manufacturing Process Planning documentation
- Provide support to production floor with drawing and technical specifications interpretations
- Prevent process bottlenecks and improve processes for manufacturing engineering activities using Lean Tools
- Present numerical data effectively
- Expert in Manufacturing Process Planning, Creation of BOMs, Creation of Technical/Manufacturing instructions
- Experience in Aerospace Processes and materials and must be from Manufacturing Background
- Very good working experience of NADCAP requirements
- Demonstrated experience using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for Process Improvements
- Demonstrated experience on tooling design and manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of Industry 4.0 is preferable
