Lead Design Engineer

The Lead Design Engineer will provide design engineering services, lead design deliverables, and provide engineering guidance to teams of designers to create complete designs for turnkey projects. The role requires a Lead Design Engineer with experience in designing and constructing high and medium-voltage substations, power distribution solutions, and expertise in handling both greenfield and brownfield turnkey electrical projects.

Requirements

• BS in engineering from an accredited institution with minimum of 3 years electrical engineering or electrical design experience
• AS in Engineering from an accredited institution with minimum of 7 years of electrical engineering or design experience
• In lieu of degree, minimum of 10 years of electrical engineering or design experience
• Professional Engineer qualification
• Field experience in testing/commissioning medium voltage equipment
• Working knowledge of NERC/FERC, NESC, NEC, ANSI, NETA
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
