Quality Engineer

Eaton's IS AER ITD Aerospace Interconnect division is seeking a Quality Engineer. The role requires working on-site M-F at our Camarillo, CA location. The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, applying, revising, and maintaining quality standards for flow-down of customer requirements, engineering product key characteristics, and assurance of in-process, final test requirements, and shipping / receiving inspection processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering or manufacturing engineering experience in an assembly manufacturing environment.
• Quality System Knowledge (e.g. AS9100, ISO 9001, TS16949)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR.
• Ability to read and understand Blueprints, Specifications, and Requirements.
• Experience in performing Quality Audits.
• Useable skills with MS Office software.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt Certification.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
• Familiar with MIL-STD’s and NASA requirements.
