Senior Security Engineer

Ebury is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join its São Paulo hub, responsible for improving technical security of applications, software development lifecycle, and infrastructure. The role involves handling remediation projects, discovering and prioritizing vulnerabilities, and creating guardrails for developers and platform engineers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in security engineering, with a solid understanding of network security, identity management, and cloud providers. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering
• Solid understanding of network security, identity management, operating systems, and other cybersecurity fundamentals
• Deep technical expertise in GCP, AWS, or other cloud providers
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD technologies and processes
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash), and the ability to understand and navigate through large codebases, understanding applications end-to-end
• Experience with containers and container orchestrator platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Professional fluency in English and Portuguese
