Job Description
As a Senior Cabinet Engineer, you will lead the design, engineering, and optimization of low-voltage switch gears and industrial control cabinets, oversee the entire hardware engineering lifecycle, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a certified state technician (Staatlich geprĂĽfter Techniker) / Master Craftsman (Elektromeister) with equivalent experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in control cabinet engineering and electrical hardware design, with a proven track record specifically within the German market
- Expert-level proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 (including EPLAN Pro Panel for 3D layout)
- Deep, applied knowledge of German and European electrical engineering standards (CE marking, DIN, VDE, Machinery Directive)
- Fluent German (C1/C2 level) for clear communication with local suppliers and production teams, and professional proficiency in English
