We are seeking a qualified and experienced Planner to join our Production & Raw Material planning team at the Ellwood City Plant. The Planner will ensure timely production of orders and/or procurement of raw materials to meet customer delivery schedules and maintain safety stock levels.
Requirements
- Planning production orders and raw materials to support on-time delivery to customers and maintain safety stock levels.
- Participating in daily planning meetings and assigning priorities to production planning tasks.
- Reviewing open order reports and ensuring production plan supports on time delivery to customers.
- Updating production schedule based on vessels and production status and liaising with the Production team on the status of Process Orders.
- Working cross-functionally with production, logistics, quality and maintenance to ensure issues are addressed to support schedule adherence.
- Review and approve invoices for raw material orders
- Drive continuous improvement ideas across functions
- Complete ownership of inventory levels in assigned MRP
