Sr. Derivative Accountant

EDF Trading North America, LLC is seeking a Sr. Derivative Accountant to lead the assessment and documentation of complex transactions, partner with trading and risk departments, and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting
• CPA certification
• Excess of five years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
• Prior experience in energy trading, commodities, or financial services industries
• Big Four or national public accounting firm experience preferred
• Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Advanced Excel skills
