Job description
Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to provide support to a major national laboratory. The role involves administering Linux servers, troubleshooting issues, and participating in customer projects. The team designs, implements, and maintains complex systems.
Troubleshoot Linux servers, provide administration, patching, and security compliance, and participate in customer projects. Responsibilities include system setup, account management, file services, network configuration, license management, application hosting, and end-user application support.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in Linux Server management and troubleshooting, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a minimum of a high school degree (or relevant experience). Previous classified support experience, STIG compliance, VMware, Splunk, scripting, and interfacing with vendors are highly desirable.
