The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately processing transactions and maintaining a clean checkout area. General Purpose includes accurately scanning items, handling cash and card transactions, and assisting customers with inquiries.
Requirements
- Accurately scan and ring up customer items in a timely manner.
- Handle customer payments, including cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Process returns, exchanges, and gift card transactions.
- Answer customer questions and provide store information.
- Bag groceries in a way that protects items.
- Maintain a clean checkout area.
- Follow store policies for the sale of age-restricted items.
