
Job description
Responsible for maintenance of equipment, sub stations, and other facilities at the Nhava Sheva terminal. Requires routine and preventive maintenance, as well as breakdown repairs. Must have in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including engines, hydraulics, ropes, and gearboxes.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, including emergency generators, lifts, fire systems, and yard flood lights. Record jobs, manpower, and equipment status in shift logbooks and verify job reports submitted by shift staff.
Ideal candidate will have strong mechanical engineering skills, with experience in maintenance and repair of equipment. Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces, and prioritize issues based on severity.
