The Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for managing the Machining Department, planning and coordinating machining processes, and providing leadership and guidance to staff. They must ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production of goods and products.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Machining/machine support and supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, and 2 years technical college degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Proficient with programming, editing, machine setup, and troubleshooting of CNC mills and lathes
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read text and blueprints as well as drafting symbols and geometric tolerance symbols
- Self-starting, results-oriented, flexible, and team player
