What You Will Do

Work on interconnection projects, create and validate PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP, and ASPEN models, perform tasks requiring standard electrical engineering techniques and procedures, and stay up to date on relevant state and federal regulatory matters.

Requirements

• 2+ years minimum experience in generation interconnection and compliance related activities
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Expert knowledge of generation interconnection process in different ISOs, especially in ERCOT
• In-depth knowledge of power system fundamentals, software in power systems and emerging energy technology trends
• Demonstrated expertise in detailed understanding of the analytical tools/software used in the industry
• Strong customer focus, both internal and external
• Demonstrate attention to details and being comfortable to be outside of the comfort zone
• Proactive in learning new technology and engineering knowledge
