Senior Power Systems Engineer

Role Overview

Join us in leading the change! As a Senior Power System Engineer at EPE, you will manage and lead power system projects, including leading other power system engineers, performing analyses, and communicating results to clients.

What You Will Do

Perform high level bulk power system studies using various power system software, take responsibility for project completion, interact with clients, lead and teach electrical engineers, and develop mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Power Systems Engineer
• Solid understanding of power system basics, transient stability, and master in of-the-shelve software tools like PSS/E and TARA
• Knowledge of multiple power regions of the country and independent system operators
• Proven team player skills with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong technical/report writing skills
• Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly
