Development Director - Advanced Technology

The Development Director - Advanced Technology role at Electronic Arts involves leading project planning and execution, managing high-performing teams, and driving process adoption and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of project management or production leadership experience, including 4+ years managing people and/or teams in a collaborative development environment. The team works on strategic, multi-year projects focused on character technology for EA SPORTS titles and collaborates with the Frostbite team, game teams, and central art team to create meaningful user-facing experiences and content workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of project management or production leadership experience
• 4+ years managing people and/or teams in a collaborative development environment
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects using established methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, resolving conflicts, developing talent, and fostering a healthy, motivated work environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with project scheduling, capacity planning, and risk management
