R&D Scientist

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a R&D Scientist to develop materials to meet demanding customer applications. The qualified candidate will work as part of the R&D team to commercialize new products for the advanced electronic solution business.

Requirements

• Lead development projects to meet customer specifications
• Work closely with marketing to understand product specification and voice of customer
• Create product and technical data packages for customer qualification and product promotion
• Develop chemical and material testing methods for raw material and formulation selection
• Document findings and learnings in laboratory notebooks, databases and technical reports
• Write invention disclosures and patent applications to protect intellectual property
• Supervise lab personnel as requested
• Work with Quality group to develop testing, metrology and conduct MSA/GRR related to newly developed products
