Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and design of systems, develop manufacturing files, and coordinate with suppliers to carry the designs through the quoting and procurement phase. You will also be responsible for testing, trouble-shooting, and suggesting improvements for current system designs, and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation for these systems.

Requirements

• Ability to take a concept from initial design through production with minimal supervision and own the overall mechanical design of systems
• Design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA) experience
• Proficient in SolidWorks Routing, SolidWorks Sheet Metal, SolidWorks PDM, and SolidWorks Weldments
