ERP Technical Architect

Role Overview

The Avanade ERP Practice is a leader in solutioning and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Apps. As an ERP Technical Architect, you will design, develop, and implement technical solutions within the D365 F&O platform, acting as a key technical leader in defining the overall architecture and ensuring efficient, scalable, and customized solutions for complex business processes.

What You Will Do

Design technical architecture for D365 F&O implementations, lead development of custom solutions, extensions, and integrations, and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Developing extensions/customisations for D365 F&O
• Experience in the design and implementation of system integration to D365 F&O
• Strong technical requirements gathering skills
• Familiarity with security framework and ability to create new security policies
• Creating custom workflow business processes
• Understanding the integration options and underlying technologies available
• Using Azure DevOps (or JIRA when required), test case planning and acceptance testing framework including release management
• Client management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan
• Implementation experience across multiple industry sectors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong proficiency in D365 F&O development, including X++ programming, data entities, and workflows
• Deep understanding of D365 F&O core modules (Finance, Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production, etc.)
• Experience with system integration methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based development practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
