Research Account Manager

We are seeking a Research Account Manager to retain and grow Elsevier's journals and books business across academic and research institutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in consultative selling, experience with SaaS solutions, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, and a background in working with academic and research institutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of sales or account management experience
• Experience selling content, technology, or similar offerings
• Experience working with academic, research, or institutional customers
• Able to operate at operational, tactical, and strategic levels
• Self-motivated and driven
• Ability to manage competing priorities from various stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Proven communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Experience working in a global, highly matrixed organization
