The School of Graduate Studies in the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a focus on Space Operations.
Requirements
- Doctorate and relevant experience in space studies and autonomous systems
- Ph.D. in a closely related field and teaching and research experience in space operations and autonomous systems
- Ability to teach courses at both the doctoral and master's levels
- Ability to chair Ph.D. dissertation and/or master’s thesis committees
- Ability to provide oversight, direction, and guidance to ensure the quality, integrity, and relevance of the MS in Space Operations program
- Ability to meet ongoing scholarly growth requirements, including publishing scholarly work, actively pursuing and obtaining externally funded research, and presenting work at professional conferences
- Ability to fulfill service responsibilities to the university and the profession
