Job Description
EMCS is seeking a Land Survey Technician to improve daily lives through quality survey. The role focuses on transportation projects, including topographic surveys, right-of-way surveys, highway designs, and construction layout. Office work includes data management, calculations, and the preparation of Transportation Project Plats.
Requirements
- AS or BS degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Previous work experience in land surveying
- Background in modern survey methods including use of robotic total stations, data collectors, Trimble Business Center and GPS/VRS
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Valid driver’s license
