Service Provider Network Engineer

Role Overview

Emergent Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to support a large-scale government infrastructure program. This role focuses on Service Provider transport network engineering, including advanced design and integration of MPLS, BGP, and multi-vendor platforms.

What You Will Do

Design and implement Service Provider transport networks, lead network architecture design efforts, serve as a technical SME, translate customer requirements into scalable enterprise and Service Provider network solutions, and perform Tier 4-level support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (preferred)
• Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in network engineering
• Advanced understanding and hands-on experience with MPLS/BGP transport networks, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, ISIS), core and edge Service Provider technologies, and modern Service Provider architectures and interconnectivity
• Ability to lead projects independently and support cross-domain integration
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Must be a self-starter capable of mentoring and leading a technical team
