Radiology Technologist (PRN Day Shift)

Role Overview

Perform imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and other staff.

What You Will Do

Operate and maintain imaging department equipment, perform imaging exams, and maintain documentation and records. Collect laboratory samples, perform lab testing, and maintain quality control.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist with a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, and certification as a medical radiologic technologist. Experience in radiologic/imaging, CT, and emergency room settings is preferred.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography (preferred)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience (preferred)
• 1+ years of CT experience (preferred)
• 1+ years of emergency room experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software and PACS
