Job Description
employU is a nonprofit employment service dedicated to creating inclusive workforces for people with disabilities. The Vocational Evaluator will assess clients to identify strengths and needs, developing professional reports to support vocational and/or educational options. This role involves interviewing, formal assessments, and work observation, playing a vital role in helping clients achieve independence.
Requirements
- Conducts a wide variety of assessments including interest inventories, academic achievement and IQ assessments
- Coordinates and performs work site evaluations
- Prepares reports detailing assessment methods, observations and recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, paper based assessments and computer based assessment administration
- Pass a Level 2 background check
- Reliable transportation (driver's license, insurance, registration, etc.)
- Passion for working with individuals with disabilities
