OCONUS Senior Systems Administrator

Role Overview

Lead the administration and support of a virtualized server environment, design and manage systems and services, oversee maintenance and monitoring of SAN storage systems, and manage VMware virtualization environments. Work location is Camp Humphreys, Korea. Empower AI is a company that provides AI solutions for government agencies.

What You Will Do

Perform routine and emergency system maintenance, patching, and performance tuning. Ensure all systems comply with applicable security, configuration, and documentation standards. Support system backup, restoration, and continuity of operations planning.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Red Hat/Solaris, Windows, and cybersecurity, as well as experience managing a team of System Administrators. The candidate should also have certifications such as ISC2, Sun Certified Solaris System Admin, CompTIA Security+, Network+, and ITIL V3.

Requirements

• Hands on Red Hat/Solaris, Windows, and cybersecurity experience
• Experience managing a team of System Administrators providing C2 and VDI/Web services
• Experience with Unix Shell scripting, Oracle/Sun HW, DISA STIG/SCAP implementation
• Ten (10) or more years in the field or related area
• Certifications: ISC2, Sun Certified Solaris System Admin, CompTIA Security+, Network+, ITIL V3
• SECRET Clearance
• Completed SSBI
• Must maintain eligibility for continued clearance and access to secure facilities and systems throughout employment
