The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting is responsible for developing and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, overseeing finance-related regulatory reporting requirements, and supporting the VP/Controller and SVP/CFO by preparing financial analysis and materials for Board and Committee presentations.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years in accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and/or financial analysis
- Experience preparing complex financial statements, supporting month-end close, or working with regulated financial institutions
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CGMA, CFA, or advanced accounting/financial reporting certificates)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data validation)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound professional judgment
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build productive working relationships
