The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist provides technical leadership and deep mechanical expertise to support the reliability, maintenance, and performance of critical mechanical systems across the region.
Requirements
- Provide technical leadership and direct support to maintenance teams for troubleshooting, repair, and reliability improvement of mechanical systems
- Coordinate maintenance strategies, programmatic repairs, and corrective action plans to address recurring reliability issues and enhance equipment performance
- Support lifecycle management of mechanical assets by analyzing performance data, maintenance history, and risk factors to inform repair, replacement, and spare parts strategies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute outages, shutdowns, and major maintenance activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal operational disruption
- Lead and promote preventive and predictive maintenance best practices, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and non-destructive testing techniques
- Conduct and support root cause failure analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to resolve equipment failures and drive long-term reliability gains
